"Joey"

Hi, my name is Joey.  I was a street dog wandering the streets with another little dog named "LuLu" when I found my new parents.  You see, I was a victim of the bad economy of 2008-2009.  My owners moved out of their home and didn't take me with them due to foreclosure.  It amazed me that they just booted us out the door instead of caring about our safety and taking us to a rescue who could at least feed us and give us shelter.  My keen sense of direction led me to an open garage where I found my new mom and dad!  We were saved!

Our new foster parents tried adopting us together but had difficulty convincing people to take us both in.

Unfortunately, LuLu girl was scared around my new brothers because they were very large compared to Lulu and I.  I told my mom and dad that I would miss her but for her safety it's better to find her a new home where she could be comfortable.  LuLu found her new forever home and is best buds with her new brother "Jack".  I still meet up for playdates at the dog parks every once in a while to see my old pal.  Here is a picture of her with her new family below; LuLu is on left and Jack on the right.

Although I hang out with my pack regularly I was officially adopted in Fall 2008 by my foster mom's dad and live in Anaheim Hills.  Since I love my brothers so much and being close to my pals at the Orange dog park I hang out with them much of the time when my dog dad works.

It's a dog's life!

Weight: 22

Size: Small

Breed: Mutt Mix/Nova Scotia Retriever?

Nickname: Joe Joe Bean

I am a happy dog to say the least.  I rank at the bottom of the pack because that's where I like to be.  I am the little brother and last to join the pack  I jump and prance around like a crazy dog when mom and dad get home.  I love my brothers and they love me too.  I have a carefree view of the world and I love life.  My most favorite thing to do is ride in the basket when we go trike-joring with my mom and brother Bud.  I sit in the basket and Bud pulls the trike; it's awesome!  I also go to the Orange dog park all the time to see my friends. My best friends are Brussels and Sprout! Here they are in this photo below.
