Your dog will be #1 on this adventure. We're a one of a kind custom service that is designed for your dog to be the spotlight. Your dog will not be grouped in with the pack here, and by that we mean every adventure consists of 1 human and 1 dog only.
There are many dog service companies out there that will walk your dog. Ugly Dog Adventures stands apart from the rest due to our multitude of activities and a unique single dog to single adventure leader experience.

Why should my dog participate in an adventure?
- Dogs require daily exercise to keep them healthy, happy, and actively engaged.
- Exercise helps to maintain a healthy body weight and to relieve excess energy.
- Can provide social companionship and mental stimulation.
- Relieving stored energy can also help to reduce destructive behaviors.
- Burning excess energy can act as a stress reliever for many dogs.
- Training sessions after exercising can be more beneficial for your dog.
- All of the above factors can help dogs have a better quality of life.
Why do dogs need adventures?
Dogs require a ton of exercise! Walking your dog is great and you should do this for at least an hour everyday; at a minimum. However, many dogs require much more physical exertion than owners can provide on a daily basis. Adding an adventure to your dog's routine schedule can make a big difference in your dog!
What adventure is appropriate for my dog?
All adventures are based on dog's breed, age, overall health condition and physical fitness level. If you aren't sure which adventure is right for your dog we offer a free meet and greet appointment.
Will my dog be safe?
Dogs are kept on a 4' or 6' leash at all times.
*Only Dog Park/Dog Beach trips are UNLEASHED.
We carry first aid kits in human packs at all times on every adventure. Dog's owner and vet information is loaded into cell phone before departing on every adventure. We also respect our planet and always scoop the poop.
We are CPR & 1st Aid Certified!

How does my dog get to the adventure spot?
We use crates for safety during transportation. Crates are cleansed and sanitized before and after each adventure. We will pick up and drop off at your location.
Batzi Belts can be used instead if you prefer not to crate your dog. A Batzi Belt is an excellent restraint system that can be used with any dog harness.
What are the requirements for my dog?
All adventurers require all of the following items:
- All adventure dogs should have basic obedience skills and decent recall.

All dogs should be registered in the County of Orange and wearing ID tags.

Dogs should be current on flea and tick preventative or medication. (Hikes)

Certain adventures require dogs to be socially acceptable. (Beach/Park)

Do you have rules against certain dog breeds?
NO!
Any breed accepted and all dogs welcome!
We do not discriminate against size, color, weight, or breed!
Please read the adventure dog requirements (above) to make sure your dog qualifies.
We except purebred Pit-Bulls!
(Must be people friendly - thank you.)
Unlike dog day care, we take all dogs, they do not have to be well trained, neutered or spayed to enjoy a 1:1 dog adventure.
Do we offer any discounts?
Weekly and monthly packages are available for less.

What if the weather is a factor?
Adventures will be re-scheduled at your convenience due to rain or heat. Dogs are highly susceptible to exhaustion and/or dehydration and therefore we do not exercise dogs in high temperatures. We are available on rainy days too.
What adventure is appropriate for my dog?
We will help match your dog to an adventure if you aren't sure which one is best. We will review your dog's breed, overall health, age, size, weight, and more!
